The Consultancy Group are currently supporting a Tier 1 Consulting business on their group-wide Transformation programme and is looking for a PMO Lead to ensure the delivery of the strategic goals of the project.
Our client has recently completed an assessment of their finance controls system, which indicated that while they have comprehensive and well-executed controls in place, there is a need for measures to reduce complexity and manual work. Many of these improvements will be addressed through the transformational programs they already have in motion, but some of the benefits will not be realised in the near term and also some additional measures are required.
They have recently mobilised the Financial Controls project to manage the immediate implementation of fifteen interim or additional measures to address twelve critical or highly critical gaps identified during the Finance Controls assessment. The project will address gaps identified across processes in six categories (i.e. Procurement, Expenses, Transversal, Escalation, Remediation and Training) to ensure that new processes/tools are embedded into the day-to-day operations of these teams to deliver a stronger financial control ecosystem.
Key responsibilities:
Establish project governance structure, ensuring that initiatives are prioritised and aligned with the strategic objectives of the project, are delivered on time and budget, resources are utilised most efficiently and ongoing risks are mitigated.
