Job Description

We are working with a large-cap Private Equity investor to appoint an Interim CEO for a portfolio business operating in infrastructure and industrial development. This is a critical leadership mandate requiring an experienced operator to stabilise, scale, and drive value creation across a complex asset base, with a particular focus on commercial optimisation, investor engagement, and strategic delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide executive leadership and take full ownership of P&L, operational performance, and strategic direction

  • Drive value creation initiatives, including revenue growth, cost optimisation, and asset repositioning

  • Lead and execute a commercial strategy across leasing and tenant/customer acquisition

  • Oversee asset management performance, ensuring optimisation of utilisation, yield, and long-term value

  • Act as the primary interface with the Private Equity sponsor, providing clear reporting and strategic insight

  • Play a leading role in investor attraction, capital raising, and stakeholder engagement

  • Build credibility with lenders, investors, and external partners to support financing and growth initiatives

  • Assess and strengthen the senior leadership team, ensuring capability to deliver against the plan

  • Drive organisational alignment and pace of execution across a multi-site or complex operating model

Candidate Profile

  • Proven track record as a CEO, MD, or Senior Executive within infrastructure, industrials, or real asset-heavy environments

  • Strong experience in large-cap Private Equity portfolio companies

  • Deep understanding of leasing models, commercial strategy, and revenue generation

  • Demonstrated success in asset management and optimisation across complex portfolios

  • Experience in investor engagement, capital raising, or strategic funding processes

  • Ability to operate effectively in high-pressure, performance-driven environments

  • Strong financial acumen with a clear focus on cash flow, returns, and value exit positioning

  • Credible, hands-on leader capable of rapid diagnosis and execution
