Transformation Director (Interim) – Private Equity Portfolio Company | Transport & Logistics / Food & Agriculture | UAE
The Opportunity
Alongside the Operating Partner, the investor is seeking a Transformation Director to take ownership of day-to-day execution of the transformation agenda within the portfolio business. This role is focused on delivery, cadence, and implementation, acting as the engine room beneath the senior sponsor.
Role Mandate
Key responsibilities include:
Translating transformation objectives into structured workstreams with clear ownership and timelines
Driving execution across operations, organisation, cost base, and performance improvement initiatives
Establishing governance, cadence, and reporting mechanisms
Working closely with functional leaders and site level management to unblock issues
Tracking benefits, momentum, and delivery against plan
Acting as a trusted counterpart to the Operating Partner and CEO
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will typically have:
Senior experience as a Transformation Director, Programme Director, or senior consultant
Strong delivery bias, with evidence of having run complex execution programmes, not just designed them
Background in operations, transformation, or performance improvement in large, asset heavy businesses
Experience in PE backed or highly performance driven environments
Ability to operate in cross cultural, multinational settings
Consulting background acceptable provided the individual has strong execution credibility
Sector experience in transport/logistics or food/agriculture preferred but not mandatory
Commercials
£1,500 per day
Initial 3 month engagement with likely extension
